his is the entrance to my home. Autumn is upon us now, and we have finished the harvest, and now we celebrate with festivals.

Just give me a few minutes, and I'll show you around the hole. Mmmmm -- I can already smell a hot apple pie baking in the oven, so surely you'll want to come with me to the kitchen for a bite to eat before you do anything else.

I left a bowl of nuts on the table! I would bring it with me, but my hands are full. Would you be so kind as to pick it up and take it to the kitchen for me? Thank you so much.

No, I'm afraid I did not paint this picture -- one of the Big Folk did that, an artist by the name of JOHN HOWE -- one of my very favorite Tolkien artists.
